Biography:

Jason's expertise lies in completing Pre-Disturbance Assessments with oilfield and potash drilling sites. An assessment includes compiling a list of vegetation with the proposed site as well as a soil assessment based on the Canadian System of Soil Classification. Jason has a diploma in Environmental Science from Lakeland College in which soils and vegetation indentfication was a major portion of the course load.

On April 3rd, 2017 Jason took a position as an Agronomist at Parrish & Heimbecker Limited in Weyburn Saskatchewan.

Jason has been working for P&H in Weyburn for about 5 years now and has learned many new skills including:

herbicide groups and their uses

staging of different crops (canola, spring wheat, durum, soybeans, flax)

soil sampling for agriculture purposes and analysis

tissue sampling and anlysis
